Climax announces Runabout 3 for the PS2

Climax has announced that it will release Runabout 3 Neo Age for the PlayStation 2 in Japan. The game takes place in New York City. It features around 30 missions and several vehicles to choose from, including fire trucks and tanks. Other new features include damage penalties for the player's car, a rearview mirror, and a drift-crash point system that gives players a higher score for destroying objects on the map. The Runabout series was first introduced in the US under the title Felony 11-79 for the PlayStation. It was followed by Super Runabout: San Francisco Edition on the Dreamcast. Runabout 3 Neo Age for the PS2 is slated for a May release in Japan for a price of 6,800 yen ($52).

A North American release has not been announced.
