[UPDATE] It's all over. CLG dominated Allegiance tonight by a 4-0 margin to win the 2016 Halo World Championship. They get a $1 million prize, while Allegiance goes home with $500,000 in their pockets.

Preliminary matches are now over and it's time for the finals at the 2016 Halo World Championship. The final, between CLG and Allegiance, is starting right now on the Halo Twitch channel and through Xbox One.

The winning Halo 5 team gets $1 million, while the runner-ups will take home $500,000. The $1 million prize is the largest in console gaming history, according to Microsoft. Buckle up!

You can tune in to see some elite-level play, but that's not all. Everyone who watches also gets a free Halo World Championship Req pack for Halo 5.

Microsoft is also planning to air a new Warcraft trailer during the event, along with the first footage of Halo 5's upcoming Warzone Firefight mode. We will update this post this evening when the tournament wraps up.
