We already knew Cities: Skylines 2 was coming out, but if you fancy a city builder, you maybe didn't expect this level of customization.

In a new trailer from the Xbox Games Showcase, the team behind the genre title that dethroned SimCity is now showing off its next level of features, complete with options to customize every home, every road, every biome, and so much more.

Now Playing: Cities: Skylines II - Announcement Trailer

As the tagline suggests, Cities: Skylines 2 is seeking to become a blank slate for every player's city-building dreams. It launches on Xbox Game Pass for console, cloud, and PC on October 24, as well as PS5 and PC (via Steam). It'll be priced at $50, with an Ultimate edition set at $90 that includes the expansion pass, instant access to the San Francisco set when it launches, and more.
