Christian-themed episodic adventure game Adam's Venture Chronicles is coming to the PlayStation 3 next month, independent studios Vertigo Games and Playlogic have announced. Previously, the franchise was exclusive to PC.

Adam's Venture Chronicles includes the three previously released episodes The Search for the Lost Garden, Solomon's Secret, and Revelations. On PS3, the games have been "polished and optimized," developers said.

The game launches exclusively for PS3 on February 4 in the United States and will sell for $12. In Europe, the game goes on sale February 5 and will go for €12. PlayStation Plus members worldwide can save 20 percent for a limited time. On Steam, you can buy all three episodes for $13.

The Uncharted-style Adam's Venture series puts you in the shoes of a young explorer named Adam in the 1920s. Together with his companion Evelyn, Adam embarks on a quest to find ancient artifacts, while outsmarting the nefarious Clarivoix Corporation at the same time.

Adam's Venture Chronicles runs on the Unreal Engine 3, the same technology behind BioShock Infinite and Mass Effect 3, among many others. It promises 10+ hours of gameplay and more than 60 puzzles to solve.

The Adam's Venture series is not the only Christian-themed franchise making headlines recently, as a Kickstarter campaign for Bible Chronicles: The Call of Abraham went live just last week.
