Chocobo at the Race Track

TOKYO - In other Square news, these pictures are from Chocobo Racing: Genkaiheno Road. As you can see, there will be eight cars featuring Final Fantasy series characters. These cars are divided into three classes: heavy, middle, and lightweight. You can choose to use different Maseki during races. Maseki are items used for magic to attack others or defend from their attacks. The idea is pretty similar to Mario Kart.

Chocobo Racing will be released March 18 for 5800 yen (about US$51) in Japan.
