Children of Bodom frontman appearing in BandFuse: Rock Legends

Alexi Laiho of Finnish metal band the eighth "legend" in upcoming music game, joining Slash, Bootsy Collins, and Zakk Wylde.

Children of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho will appear as the eighth "legend" in upcoming music game BandFuse: Rock Legends, Realta Entertainment announced today. Laiho joins other rock icons like Slash, Bootsy Collins, George Lynch, Mike Ness, Zakk Wylde, and Five Finger Death Punch's Zoltan Bathory and Jason Hook.

These musicians will not appear as avatars in the game, but rather through videos teaching players various techniques and imparting lessons they've learned through their careers.

"The musical path I have chosen has been amazing so far, and a new part of this journey is having the honor to be part of BandFuse: Rock Legends," Laiho said in a statement. "Being able to deliver my thoughts on shredding technique in game--not in avatar form but as myself--makes an unimaginable impact on my desire to take part in this game. BandFuse: Rock Legends is a terrific way to learn how to blow minds, melt faces, and play killer music."

The 55-song tracklist for Bandfuse: Rock Legends (below) was announced recently. It includes tracks spanning various genres and decades of music history. BandFuse: Rock Legends will be released on November 19 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

the 2000's list aint too good, but i'm surprised i like the rest of the decades rather well. also how the hell does FFDP make legend status?

I loved this band when I was in high school. It's cool to see their still around.

Seeing as how there's no comments, I'm going to assume no one knows who CoB is (︺︹︺)

Anyway they're going on tour again here in the States in March to support the new album so check if you want to see one of the greatest bands play their hearts out for 90 minutes.

@Heartagram_03 "still around"? Haha, one of the best, biggest European metal bands still going, and will, for years (unles Alexi's liver gives up).
