Final Fantasy XII is on its way to the PS4 in an HD remaster, and if you have fond memories of the series' twelfth entry, then there are some upcoming figures that might be of interest to you. Final Fantasy XII's Gabranth and Balthier are the next characters to get the Play Arts Kai treatment (via Toyark).

Judge Magister Gabranth is decked out in his special Archadian Empire armor and comes equipped with his two swords that can be attached to make a Darth Maul-like weapon. He comes with five interchangeable hands and a base stand. You can check it out for yourself in the gallery below.

Balthier is dressed in his sky pirate garb and follows his partner Fran, who got the Play Arts Kai treatment previously--you can see pictures of her in the gallery as well. Balthier comes with his gun, four interchangeable hands, and a figure base.

These aren't the first Final Fantasy characters to become part of Square Enix's Play Arts Kai figure collection. We saw Final Fantasy XV characters Noctis included in the upcoming game's Ultimate Collector's Edition--his three buddies Prompto, Ignis, and Gladiolus are sold separately. We've also seen the Final Fantasy VII remake's Play Arts Kai figures.

Square Enix has also tried its hand at designing other characters from DC, Marvel, and Star Wars. We've seen Batman as a Spartan warrior; Captain America, who looks like he's wearing armor made by Tony Stark; and Star Wars characters like Boba Fett and Darth Vader get redesigned by Square Enix.
