Check Out NBA Live 15's First Xbox One/PS4 Gameplay Trailer

Trailer released today for upcoming pro basketball game focuses on visuals.

EA Sports today released the first gameplay trailer for October's NBA Live 15, which is coming exclusively to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The trailer, which EA says is made up exclusively of in-game footage, showcases the advancements made to the game's visuals. This includes more accurate player likenesses, as well as true-to-life footwear and accessories.

Overall, EA says NBA Live 15 will have the "most photo-realistic visuals in franchise history."

EA boasts that every dribble, shot, dunk, and move you see in the trailer is something you'll be able to do yourself when you get the game in your hands. In the lead up to NBA Live 15's release in October, EA plans to release more details on gameplay, modes, and new features.

In all, NBA Live 15 will offer more than 500 "core" gameplay improvements over past installments, EA said. They should all combine to deliver a "truly fluid, fun, and authentic basketball gaming experience."

NBA Live 15 launches October 7 for Xbox One and PS4. Its main competitor, NBA 2K15, will also be released on that day, though it is also coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. For more on NBA Live 15, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.

2k has you guys brainwashed man.  Although, I love 2K and play it a ton, being a basketball player in real life... 2K has a TON of flaws that I HOPE they addressed for these upcoming installments. Passing in NBA Live 14 is even better than 2K14. You try to swing the ball around the court, and the AI system of 2K automatically allows the defense to know where you're passing and intercept the pass for a steal. Thats not always realistic. Steph curry can block Bron's fastbreak dunk if you time it right.... like c'mon now. (THAT's NOT REALISTIC). And don't even let me get started on the bounce passes in 2K that just go out of bounds, (as if these are not professional basketball players. I'm not knocking 2K because its a great game, but you can't just count out NBA live because of what EA has "previously" done. If you look at ALL of the improvements EA is making, you'll come to find out that they are not just focusing on real-life graphics, but COMPLETELY revamping the gameplay (shooting, dribbling responsiveness, real-life basketball NATURAL movements, way more NBA player like animations, defensive capabilities) along with great graphics. Let me also say that players signature shooting form is hands down better in NBA Live. SO many players in NBA 2K14 do not shoot even close to how they do in real life. All I'm saying is GIVE NBA LIVE A CHANCE THIS YEAR. As a basketball player, I'm getting both 2K and Live year, and I'm truly excited to see whats in store for us basketball fans in BOTH games.

This is typical EA Sports......they first images look SO GOOD.....and then as the game gets ready to come out, the images look more and more like crap.....

After many getting suckered by Live 14 last year, EA better hope the reviews are favorable.  That is the only thing they can hope for.

not buying it. The visuals trailer of 14 looked much better than gameplay, why would it be different this time?

Animation looks good, but graphics are far from photorealistic.

I'll look into this. 2k was okay. The online play killed it for me. Waiting 15 minutes for the servers to work and find a match for me and my friends is atrocious.

Nba Live should go back to it's 09' roots, the last good nba live game. Don't try to chase 2k but deliver your own type of game (I think 2k has a very steep learning curve)

This game already looks much better than 2K15! EA is going to deliver yet another gem for us gamers!

EA should just give up on NBA Live, modify the engine and use it to create a really good new-gen NBA Street. That's all I want from you EA! Well that and a remaster of the older Street games, and while your at it through in a remaster of SSX 3 and Tricky.

That's what a lot of folks complained about with nba live is the graphics and gameplay. With the nice visuals and the 500 gameplay changes who knows what can happen.

Hey, appropriate choice of song to use in the video at least.    "I'm different"   Yes, yes you are different, but that's not necessarily a good thing.

I have a feeling that they're putting TOO much in what the players look like, now don't get me wrong its cool that the players look real but at the same time whats the fun of looking super real but with movements of rockum sockum robots?

Let's tally how many people thought this was NBA 2k15 until they read the bit at the bottom. I honestly thought EA ditched NBA Live 2 years ago.

"500 gameplay improvements"

That's quite the metric. I can also claim that I drank 500 units of water today.

@shonny2k  2K has it's flaws no doubt but overall it's a superior game. I've been playing ea sports games for a long time and I can confidently say aint too much gonna change this year. We'll see what the reviews tell. I'm a player too, Lansing.
