Check Out Fallout Monopoly's Custom Board and Tokens

Dogmeat nowhere to be seen.

The Fallout-themed version of Monopoly revealed earlier this month has been officially detailed, and it's now available for preorder.

As described on Bethesda's online store page, Monopoly: Fallout Collector's Edition lets players "rebuild civilization as you buy, sell, and trade your way through the Fallout Wasteland." The game features a special board; it maintains some of the standard locations, like Free Parking, Go to Jail, and Go, but replaces everything else with locations from the Fallout games. These include Vault 13, Diamond City, Megaton, and more.

It's not just the board that's themed around Fallout. Houses and Hotels are known here as Shacks and Vaults. The game tokens, rather than the usual thimble, battleship, shoe, and so on, include a Nuka-Cola Bottle, Vault Boy, Power Armor Helmet, 10mm Pistol, MiniNuke, and Vault 111 door. (Confoundingly, Dogmeat is nowhere to be seen.) Cash takes the form of "custom Fallout money," and the Chance and Community Chest cards are replaced by Vault Dweller's Survival Guide and You're S.P.E.C.I.A.L cards.

Despite originally being described as a GameStop exclusive, you can preorder the special Monopoly game through Bethesda's store in addition to GameStop. (The former's website is down for maintenance, perhaps in response to a surge in demand after the listing went live.) Either way, it'll cost you $40, though it looks as if you'll get your hands on it sooner from GameStop: The store will have it on October 1, compared with Bethesda's ship date of October 30.

Fallout 4, the next entry in the video game series, is due out on November 10 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
