South African firm I-Imagine is working on a new single-player driving game simply titled Chase. In the game players take on the role of Chase Corrada and must prove their skills in courses based in five movie sets and a stunt training track. According to Dan Wagner at I-Imagine Chase was "originally slated for the Playstation and the PC platform, but I-Imagine has changed focus due to interest by publishers and are now working on a PC and Xbox version. Other platforms maybe announced at a later date."

I-Imagine hopes to take the racing genre and integrate movie effects such as explosions, escapes, and stunts with Chase. In that way, the company plans to bring the excitement of movie car chases and stunts into the gameplay. According to I-Imagine the company is in talks with 3 major publishers about Chase, but until a deal is finalized an official confirmation could not be made. However, an announcement is expected in the near future. Stay tuned to GameSpot for further information.
