Eidos has announced the launch of Championship Manager Online, a new massively multiplayer online football simulation. The Jadestone-produced title is available now in Nordic countries.

Although it is initially available in Sweden and Norway only, it is expected to roll out internationally after the localised launch. Players will be able to take charge of a club from 1 of 11 different national leagues (including England, Scotland, Spain, Italy, and Germany), and the in-game data will be continually updated to reflect transfers and changes in the real world.

The game will track the performances of thousands of players online and also give you the option to set up a 'buddy league' for you to compare your skills against friends or colleagues.
