Eidos Interactive has today released new information on Championship Manager 4, the next soccer management game from Sports Interactive. The game will be the first in the series to feature a real-time match engine, enabling players to watch their tactics in action on the pitch in a way that was never possible in the earlier text-based games in the series.

Championship Manager 4 will also be the first game in the series to feature customizable skins for the interface, and it was announced today that at least two additional skins will be made available for download on the day of the game's release. It was also confirmed today that CM4 will feature no less than 39 different national leagues, and that the number of players and staff in the game will be in excess of 200,000.

Championship Manager 4 is scheduled for release in Europe in March, but no North American release has been confirmed at this time. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
