Street Fighter series producer Yoshinori Ono has revealed that Capcom is working on a new fighting game. Ono announced the details in a Twitter post advertising openings for a game designer and programmer at the developer.

"I want.... no, Capcom wants Game Designer and programmer for New Fighting Game. Its location at Tokyo or Osaka Studio," Ono tweeted.

No further details about the game were given. Following up in response to a fan's comment on its release for next-generation consoles, Ono tweeted, "I don't know [that's] our target platform."

Previously, Capcom producer Tomoaki Ayano stated that Street Fighter V would take the developer "until the year 2018" to finish and release.

Additionally, Yoshinori Ono confirmed earlier this year that Street Fighter V is not in development due to budgetary restraints. He also revealed that there are no plans to bring the next iteration in the series, Ultra Street Fighter IV, to next-generation consoles.

Ultra Street Fighter IV will introduce new content, including five characters, six stages, and a host of gameplay tweaks. For more, check out GameSpot's interview with Capcom about the pack below.
