Capcom will use these fan submissions in an "official capacity" in the near future, but hasn't yet revealed its own plans for the anniversary. Artists who wish to pay tribute can submit traditional hand-drawn artwork, digital artwork, or a photograph of physical creations such as statues and costumes.

Those interested in creating a musical tribute will need to submit remixes of existing Street Fighter music, or fully original tunes inspired by the series. Entries close at 11:59 p.m. PST on May 4. For more information, head to the art submission and music submission guideline pages.

Capcom's latest release in the long-running franchise is the recent Street Fighter X Tekken for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Check out GameSpot's coverage of the upcoming Vita version.
