Camelot heads to Europe

Mythic Entertainment has announced that it has started the first phase of European beta testing of Dark Age of Camelot, its popular online role-playing game. The test will include 3,000 players and be followed by a second test, which will continue until the game's launch in France on January 21, 2002, and in the UK and Germany on February 1, 2002. Wanadoo will distribute the game in France, the UK, and Germany.

Dark Age of Camelot was launched in North America in early October. The medieval fantasy world featured in the game is inspired by Arthurian and other traditional European legends. For more information, read our full review of the game.
