Call of Duty Elite app comes to Windows Phone
After launching for iOS and Android, free app now available for Windows Phone 8 devices.
Activision has released the official Call of Duty Elite application for Windows Phone, though it is compatible only with Windows Phone 8 devices. Similar to the iOS and Android versions, the Windows Phone Call of Duty Elite app is available as a free download.
The Call of Duty Elite app allows users to view their in-game Career Summary, featuring statistics like kill/death ratio, win ratio, and current level status. In addition, the app lets users review recent matches, check Clan statistics, and watch Call of Duty Elite TV.
Activision confirmed last month that a new Call of Duty will be released in 2013, though its title and developer have not been announced yet. This game is not expected to be as commercially successful as Call of Duty: Black Ops II due to "increased volatility" related to the upcoming console transition, among other things.
