Call Of Duty Double XP Events Coming For Modern Warfare Remastered And Infinite Warfare

Activision has announced Double XP events for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered. As announced on Twitter, Infinite Warfare's event begins on January 27 at 10 AM PT and runs for an entire week, ending Friday, February 3, at the same time.

This is a Double XP event for both regular XP and weapon XP.

Modern Warfare Remastered's Double XP event also starts tomorrow at 10 AM PT, but this only runs for one weekend, ending Monday, January 30, at 10 AM PT. This Double XP event is only for regular XP.

The Double XP event comes just days before Infinite Warfare's first expansion, Sabotage, comes out on January 31 for PS4. The expansion includes new multiplayer maps and Zombies content that features film director Kevin Smith. You can read more about Sabotage here.

In other Call of Duty news, the franchise was the top-selling console series of 2016, despite Infinite Warfare selling fewer copies at launch than its predecessor, Black Ops III.
