Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's fourth and final DLC pack's maps were shown for the first time at the Call of Duty XP event today. As is normal with these packs, Salvation features four arenas including an over-sized picnic table and a town that would feel right at home in Red Dead Redemption.

The shown maps include Outlaw, a western-style remake of Standoff from Call of Duty: Black Ops II; Citadel, a castle that features a moat and drawbridge; Micro, a miniature map that's set on a family picnic table; and Rupture, a high-tech facility remake of World at War's Outskirts. You can see them for yourself in the video below.

Salvation also comes with the final chapter of the Black Ops Zombies storyline. It features Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai as their insanity-fuelled journey comes to its conclusion against Doctor Monty. It not only features zombies but giant alien-like monsters, too.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III's Salvation releases September 6 on PS4 first, as part of Sony's exclusivity deal with the series. It comes to Xbox One and PC at a later date.

Here are the official Salvation map descriptions:

  • Citadel: Once home to a powerful medieval army, this ancient castle now sits broken and abandoned. Tight corners force close-quarters engagements, while the moat and drawbridge allows for unique player movement opportunities in this mid-sized map. The last trespassers didn't make it out alive--maybe you'll have a better shot.
  • Micro: What's better than a BBQ on a hot summer day? A miniaturized war zone that takes place on a well-stocked family picnic table, that's what! Navigate this bite-size battlefield for a larger-than-life experience.
  • Outlaw: Gear up for a showdown in Outlaw; a western-style reimagining of the fan favorite map Standoff from Call of Duty: Black Ops II. This rough-and-tough medium-sized map brings classic engagements, flanking routes and strategic positions for long and medium ranged combat.
  • Rupture: The Call of Duty: World at War classic Outskirts is reimagined as a high-tech facility, designed by a futuristic society desperate to repair the Earth's atmosphere.
