Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Double XP Weekend Starts Friday

Call of Duty: Black Ops III players will earn double XP in the game's multiplayer and Zombies modes this coming weekend, Treyarch has announced. The limited-time promotion runs November 19-23, which is a pretty generous interpretation of the weekend. But I doubt anyone will complain.

The double XP event officially begins Friday, November 19 at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST and runs through Monday, November 23 at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST. Note that these times apply only to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC editions of Black Ops III. Times for the Xbox 360 and PS3 editions are "TBD."

Black Ops III launched on November 6 and generated more than $550 million in its first three days, outpacing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: Ghosts.
