Call of Duty announced for N-Gage

Nokia announces that Activision's popular World War II action series will be making its N-Gage debut later this year.

Nokia has today announced that Activision's popular Call of Duty series of World War II action games will make its N-Gage debut toward the end of this year. In addition to a single-player campaign, the N-Gage version of Call of Duty will support Bluetooth head-to-head play and rankings on the N-Gage Arena leaderboards.

"Nokia is proud to bring another award-winning title from Activision to the N-Gage platform," said Pasi Pölönen, director of games publishing at Nokia. "Call of Duty brings multiplayer mobile warfare to the next level with a full 3D experience."

"Call of Duty on the N-Gage allows players to experience Activision's critically acclaimed first-person action game in a unique mobile environment," added Dave Anderson, senior director of business development and licensing for Activision. "The addition of wireless connectivity brings a distinctive competitive experience that handheld gamers will truly enjoy anytime, anywhere."
