The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare have been updated with several fixes and improvements, developer Sledgehammer Games has announced.
The patch Fixes marksman and camo challenges to not reset when you Prestige, issues with Ping Bar not updating correctly, adjustment to challenges to unlock camos for weapons, and adds the ability to unlock eSports Rule options in Private Match. Most importantly, it fixes an issues that caused players to spawn in spectator mode when they tried to join a match.
However, several users are reporting that since downloading the patch, their game freezes while joining or at the end of multiplayer matches, especially on PS3.
Sledgehammer also explained that its update development process is to submit and verify changes on current gen systems first, and then apply those changes to prior generation as quickly as possible.
Last week, Advanced Warfare publisher Activision announced that the game is the "biggest entertainment launch" of 2014, outpacing all other games and even movies released this year so far.
