Many use gaming as a way to relax after a hard day on the job. Some may even take a temporary timeout at work and play a few minutes of their portable of choice. UK citizen Steve Allcock decided that checking into Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for the PSP during his shift wouldn't be too bad. There was just one problem--he's a bus driver for Blackburn Transport. According to UK news site Sun Online, passengers reported Allcock after they heard the game's audio coming from the front of the bus. The driver apparently held the PSP between his knees and, according to one passenger, played at stops, traffic lights, and occasionally while driving. Allcock will have plenty of time to play now, as he has been fired from the job.

It's rare nowadays to see people with PSPs, aka rubbish with an LCD screen. Go buy a DS, the PSP underdog will NEVER come back.
ROFL...i cant.....lolol.
Why PSP?
How irresponsible...
lol PSP...
thats funny
way to go tough guy, i am surprised te UK bus driving company didnt call for a ban on GTA :-) my mom always says i only have 2 hands i guess to play and drive you only need 2 hands
i always knew bus drivers were crazy and dangerous....
People suck, bus driver rules.
ahw.. poor thing.. he should have played his psp after work not between work. That way everyone will be happy and there will be no trouble for him and his passengers while driving.
Dam!! That AllCock guy is big pimpin' lol!!!
wow what a way to go fired for gaming at work, so some old farts heard the audio from gta:lcs and thought he might of crashed the bus, maybe he was just stressed and needed to let off a little. Wow you guys/gals should read the rest of the story they also fired a women for putting on make up to while driving too. what a way to go.
Well that sucks. This guy was just practicing his driving skills in GTA. I wonder if he got the two mixed up and thought he was playing when he was really driving the bus.
awsome muti-tasking .. but kinda stupid, he could of killed people on the bus.
That's unfair.
1. dont drink and drive 2. dont play psp and drive 3. JUST DRIVE
haha what a loser
Was this the short bus?
!?!?!?!?!?!?!/!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! whew, that was a good laugh!
why do people think its funny he could of very easily killed people?
Wow, how lame can you get? Good luck finding a new job now, Mr. Allcock, although, with a name like that, pr0n could be a solution...
What a stupid fool i live in the U.K. it does not suprise me and if he lost control of the bus what then ? FOOL (then again it is the north !)
lol, when I read the headline I was going to bash the company for firing him. I didn't know he was playing while driving, he deserved getting fired!
LMAO lol....Im surprised there were no accidents lol...
.............he didn't do anything!!!!!!!!!!!???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahha at first by reading the title i thought it was ridiculous...i mean c'mon man you cant play while driving lol
Allcock....heh. This whole news story is hilarious, even down to the surname "Allcock".
i wonder if he hijacked a bus in the game to drive around.
I occasionally played Advanced Wars when i was working or at school, but that was only when i had absolutely nothing to do, and sometimes i read a book instead or studied more. But this is rediculous.
Mr Allcock likes playing his P.S.P. Now he can play it all night long......
that's his fault because risking a lot of other people live.
Now that Steve Allcock was fired, it'll be Allcock, All the time.
Can you say idiot? I highly doubt the game is good enough to risk not only your life but the life of 50 other people, nor is any game worth that imo. But yeah this news is just about as funny as strippers wanting a ban of GTA because of violence torwards working women in the game.
PSP Anyonymous here he comes....he'll have plenty of time to get his "PSP Addiction" under control.
"do bus drivers doesnt have any freedoms at all?! i know playing games at work is not right but getting fired with that reason is really cheap." He wasn't doing his job and was endangering the lives of everyone onboard.
why is this gaming news? lol
what a dumbass
what is wrong with people today? what would've happened if this dumbazz got into an accident and someone was hurt? DUH!
What a dumb Mofo hahahahahah
I'm in the UK right now. Mad props to him for doing it. Even though i don't encourage it, it is still pretty funny he managed to play while driving and not hit anything. He should have done it for the night bus service here. Most people are too drunk to know whats up so he would have never been caught then. :-P
lol...pretty funny

Dumb@$$!!
haha this is so funny. Im a big fan of games as much as the next person, but there is a time and place for everything. You have to be responsible for the people you are providing a city service for. Well, now he has more time on his hands to play the game now.
haha what a loser.
That a hardcore gamer, putting a bus load of people's live at stake, just to play GTA... wonder if he jacked a bus in GTA and pretended he was in the game.
(rolling on the floor laughing)
pretty amusing stuff happening around the world.
lmao that's funny.
What's really gay is adolescents who use "gay" as a term of derision
