Hard Truck: Apocalyptic Wars riding onto PCs; game combines driving, role playing, and action.

Buka today announced that it will be rolling out a new chapter to its Hard Truck series with Hard Truck: Apocalyptic Wars. The PC game is being developed by Battle Mages developer Targem, and it will combine action and role-playing elements. Buka didn't specify a release date for the game.

The game takes place in a postapocalyptic world that's been ruined as the result of a "mysterious accident." In a story taken straight from The Road Warrior, armored vehicles are a hot commodity for their abilities to maintain trade and commerce while fending off landlocked pirates.

Apocalyptic Wars will feature five basic truck models, each of which is fully upgradable. Thirty different weapons help keep bandits at bay, including rival trucks, infantry, and robots.

GameSpot will have more on Hard Truck: Apocalyptic Wars as details are released.
