Buka Entertainment announces Hellforces

Buka plans to release this zombie-filled first-person shooter early in 2005. First screens inside.

Buka Entertainment has today announced that it will release Hellforces in the first quarter of 2005. The game, which is currently in development at Orion, is a first-person shooter in which players will have to battle against soulless zombies that have been possessed by demons from a parallel world.

The zombies are the product of experiments conducted by biophysicist Henry Alfred Cole, who, after extracting souls from human bodies, is able to use the souls as a power source. One of the zombies, possessed by a demon named Baphomet, has founded a cult dedicated to opening a gateway into the human world for Lucifer. As a result, it's up to players to stop the possessed zombie, his cult, and possibly even Lucifer.

Hellforces will feature 24 different weapons and a number of gadgets, including binoculars, night-vision goggles, and a motion sensor. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.

I just got this on Green Man Gaming for $2 after using a discount code.  Worth it at that price ?  I think so based off what I saw in videos on YouTube.  Anyone that has actually played it care to comment ?
