Microsoft's squad-based shooter is now available in stores.

Comments

Microsoft has announced that Brute Force is available at retail outlets in North America. Brute Force lets players control a squad of four characters, each with his or her own unique skills and abilities. When in control of one character, players can issue a variety of orders to other members of the team during a mission. In addition, Brute Force supports split-screen and system-link multiplayer play.

"We are giving players a very different experience from what they'd expect from typical run-and-gun shooters," said producer Erin Roberts. "Brute Force is not only about action, but also about giving the player the freedom to decide how they want to utilize their squad to complete each mission. Players can choose to march through missions with guns blazing using Tex and Brutus or take a stealthier pace by sneaking behind enemy lines with Hawk or sniping enemies at a distance with Flint. Everyone will find their own style."
