Brutal Legend coming to PC

Upgraded version of 2009 Double Fine action game coming to Steam with all DLC; preorders get instant access to multiplayer beta.

Double Fine today announced that its 2009 action game Brutal Legend is coming to PC. The game is available to preorder today through Steam at a limited-time rate of $15. An exact launch date was not revealed, though the game will jump up to $20 when it's released in full.

Those who preorder the game today will receive immediate access to the Brutal Legend PC multiplayer beta, as well as two "exclusive" Team Fortress 2 items: Eddie Riggs' hair and his guitar Clementine.

The PC version of Brutal Legend includes previously released downloadable content Tears of the Hextadon and The Hammer of Infinite Fate. In addition, it has been upgraded, complete with "more detailed visuals" and "improved performance." Specifics were not mentioned.

Also available on Steam is the Brutal Legend original music score from Peter McConnell. The score will be offered as a stand-alone download for $8 or as part of the Brutal Legend 2 Soundtrack Edition for an extra $5.
