Broadband software provider BroadJump has announced a partnership with online game developer NCsoft to add its online role-playing game Lineage: The Blood Pledge to its lineup. The agreement is part of NCsoft's North American broadband strategy to build the subscriber base for its popular online game. Lineage currently has more than 4 million subscribers and 330,000 concurrent users. The game was launched in the North American market in October with the help of Ultima creator Richard Garriott, who is now an executive producer at NCsoft's Austin, Texas, office.

"This partnership will enable us to more effectively market and deliver Lineage--with help from the world's biggest and best broadband service providers--to the ever-growing number of online gaming fans," said Garriott.
