Bold Games today announced that it has shipped Elite Warriors: Vietnam for the PC. The game was developed by New Jersey-house Nfusion, the company that previously worked on Line of Sight: Vietnam and Deadly Dozen.
The first-person shooter is based on the experiences of Major John L. Plaster, whose squad was a Studies and Observations Group during the war. "No detail was overlooked--from proper tactical responses right on down to hand signals--this is the way we operated in Vietnam," said Plaster.
In the game, players will lead teams through authentic locales such as the Ho Chi Minh Trail and deep into the jungles of Laos. The game's missions will vary from rescuing downed pilots, capturing prisoners, and gathering intelligence.
Elite Warriors: Vietnam is rated "T" for Teen and sells for $29.99. For more information on the game, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
