BlowOut ships for PS2 and Xbox
Majesco announces the North American release of its arcade-style third-person shooter for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
Majesco has today announced that it has shipped the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of BlowOut to stores in North America. The game, which was developed by Terminal Reality, is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of a futuristic mercenary attempting to stop a group of aliens that pose a threat to the entire universe.
"BlowOut has the look and feel of a next-generation shooter mixed with the flavor and style of one of the great side-scrollers of the past," said Ken Gold, vice president of marketing for Majesco. "BlowOut provides a thrilling game experience on all three major consoles, and all at a very attractive holiday price."
The Xbox version of BlowOut carries a suggested retail price of $19.99, while the PS2 version is just $9.99. The GameCube version of the game is currently scheduled for release in December and will also retail at $9.99. For more information on BlowOut, check out our previous coverage of the game.
