Set in a post-apocalyptic, third millenium world, Bloodsports.TV is a spinoff from the Krater: Shadows Over Solside universe. The game is set to launch for PC through Steam on April 8.

“Finally we are excited to announce this bloody little darling of ours! Bloodsports.TV started off as a crazy attempt to create the co-op experience we had always wanted to experience, but couldn't find," Toadman lead designer Rasmus Davidsson said.

Bloodsports.TV is set in a post-apocalyptic version of Stockholm, the home country of developer Toadman. The city has been "feeling the effects of nuclear detonations, kinectic impacts, bio-weapon plagues, and all-consuming nano storms."

Playing as one of many unique gladiator characters, gamers will work together with others to square off against an "endless onslaught" of enemies while a "quirky commentator" provides play-by-play. Check out the trailer above for a better idea about what Bloodsport.TV is all about.
