BloodRayne 2 bounces off to factory

Majesco today announced that BloodRayne 2, its action horror adventure starring a sexy, undead, and sometimes unclothed antiheroine, has gone gold. The title will ship for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC on October 12.

The publisher also unveiled today the full details behind the marketing blitz it will put behind BloodRayne 2, the title on which Majesco seems to have pinned much of its holiday hopes. The game's launch party will appear on MTV2's Headbangers Ball program; the eponymous heroine appeared nude in the October issue of Playboy; and a licensed comic book series and feature film are currently in the works.
