BlazBlue gets limited editions in Oz

The 2D fighter is finally landing down under with a bundled fight stick for the PS3 and faceplates for the 360.

Months after its Japanese and US debut, 2D fighter BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is about to launch in Australia with two limited edition packs for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The packs will contain either an arcade stick controller for the PS3 or two printed faceplates for the Xbox 360 controllers. According to the game's distributors, All Interactive Entertainment, the limited editions have been created exclusively for the game's Australian release and will not be available separately.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is a fast-paced fighter featuring 12 hand-drawn characters and an online battle mode. The game was developed by Japanese developer Arc System Works of Guilty Gears fame. The game will be released across Australia and New Zealand on March 25, 2010.

Including a stick and all is cool, but this one looks barely usable. Looks like those 25 dollar ones I see in FutureShop with various synonyms for "Pro" and "Extreme" labeled all over it to grab uninformed consumers. Still, a crappy stick is better than no stick... I think.

Yeah but its a free stick, so even if it sucks theres no loss. :/ I have to wonder though, does their LE come with the same stuff the NA version came with too (the OST and the bonus disc)
