Bizarre Talks Metropolis Launch

GameSpot News caught up with Bizarre Creations to chat about the recent rash of reports claiming that Metropolis for the Dreamcast has been delayed. Up until now the company had claimed there was no official plan to have the game ready in time for the European release, however its Web site pointed out that it would be. So we asked about that.

"The initial plan was that the game be for 'launch' - ie. within a few months of the console release - but not to necessarily be a day one title,"said Bizarre's Sarah Dixon. "Sega decides what's Day 1, what's Month 1 and what's after that - and the Day/Month 1 titles are all that have been announced for now."

So when can we expect the release of Metropolis in Europe? Dixon went on to say, "We - as well as you - will wait and see what Sega decide for Metropolis." Stay tuned for more details soon.
