European developer Bits Corp. recently revealed that it is currently in the midst of developing a console game titled Thieves World. The game is currently in development for a single console, but the specific platform has not been identified at this time. However, GameSpot has further learned that the game will be published by Midway Home Entertainment and could be ready for release in the first half of 2002.

On a related note, Bits Studios has further announced that it plans to release the followup to its Game Boy Color game Warlocked on Nintendo's new Game Boy Advance handheld. Titled Wizards, the game will incorporate elements of real-time strategy, puzzle, and arcade-style action. Through the game's 30 levels, players will be able to control individual troop members or entire army units. A variety of subquests and multiple endings will also be available in the game. Multiplayer modes include capture the flag, gladiators, dominion, and Wizzball. Wizards will be released in Q2 2002 for the Game Boy Advance. Nintendo published the original Warlocked, but no publisher has been confirmed for Wizards at this time.

Bits Studios is also developing Jet Riders for the GBA and Die Hard for the Nintendo GameCube. GameSpot will have more on the company's projects as further information is available.
