Nintendo's recent Mini Direct was a Partner Showcase where the Fight Night-like boxing game Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions was announced for Nintendo Switch. It's also coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Big Rumble Boxing takes place in the Creed and Rocky movie universes. This means you can play as Adonis Creed, Rocky Balboa, Adonis' father Apollo Creed, Ivan and Viktor Drago, and more iconic characters from the franchises. This arcade boxing game will feature a story-driven campaign, local multiplayer, "iconic Rocky training montages" presented as minigames, and a training mode.

Developer Survios shared some high-res 4K screenshots alongside the announcement trailer, which are embedded below.

"Bringing classic arcade boxing to even more players worldwide, Survios is delighted to extend its partnership with Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM), creating another knockout game in the Creed franchise," Survios CEO Seth Gerson said in a press release. "Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions will answer consumer demand for intense boxing games on traditional platforms while breaking new ground in game development."

The last Creed game was the 2018 virtual reality title Creed: Rise to Glory, which Survios developed for Oculus Quest and PlayStation VR.

Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions is slated to arrive in spring 2021 on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
