this just emphasizes Sony's extremely weak lineup on next gen

Still see no reason to upgrade my PS3 or Box.

Most things here are pretty damn solid so good to see that they're actually being bought.

Even with all the sales, Minecraft was still #1.

The numbers in the list look like zig zags. Did a child type this up?

A good chunk of those best selling PS3 games were on that .99 cents sale.

I'm surprised to see Gex on the list, much less on top...

was there some big Gex special I was unaware of because that just seems random.

Me buy Chrono Trigger on PSN! To h.e.l.l. with eBay!!

It's a shame Red Faction 2 sold more than Red Faction 1.  Red Faction 2 scaled down the destructibility of the environments, and discouraged exploring and playing around by having enemies just re-spawn endlessly.  Too bad, one of the coolest things about the first Red Faction was exploring and playing around with explosives.

However, this too is related to the flash sale, it could be possible that many people already owned Red Faction 1, so more people bought Red Faction 2 than Red Faction 1 during the sale.  Or I could just be in denial...

Who suddenly bought Back To the Future for PS3?

I think it's kind of crappy that they include games that were in a $1 sale in the top sales list, that kind of just craps all over the new games that just came out and are asking retail value.

How does Minecraft sell so well???  I wonder if it's Satan who is buying millions of copies, so he can force his millions of minions in hell to play that game.  I played the demo, barf.

Im amazed that the Amazing Spiderman made it in the list, also surprised that the "Lone Survivor" didnt make it to the list, that game was great

Many of those PS3 games were just 99 cents in April. I grabbed a bunch of those titles. I forgot to go to Blizzards site and download Blackthorn, The Lost Vikings and that one other game for FREE. I wonder if they are still free now. I'll have to check.

Must be very sad if the most played games are indies.

Been playing Fusion with my brother and friends and Child of Light with my Niece, I'm playing on Steam but I can't imagine Trials or COL are any different on consoles, great games.

@Triton  Maybe in a year will be the time to upgrade when all those delayed games come out.

@liquidbutter  I think it should be noted how successful the flash sale was all 5 of my games made top 10 status.

@spacecadet25  I didn't play Red Faction until Guerilla, and I liked it, but so many fans of the original hated it :).  Then I got a taste of that same disappointment when Armageddon came along :).

@youre_a_sheepLOL!!!  They must have clicked the wrong button online.  I bet the developers of the Back to the Future game could wish they could go back to the past and make a better game!

However, Back to the Future game sales is another example from the laundry list of games that went for sale for $1 during a flash sale.  They should not clutter the list with those, it's very misleading.

@freedom01  Free on ps+ means most people won't buy it because I imagine most active gamers who are actually buying games probably arleady own ps+ and hence lone survivor.

@allyouneedisluv What? Trials Fusion and Child Of Light aren't Indie games you fool they are made by one of the biggest game developers around, Ubisoft.

@rasterror Further sequel-itis would NOT be great news.  It's bad enough Nintendo refuses to make anything new.

Coldpain

@mkeezay22 @allyouneedisluv  They are in spirit. It's gotten to the point where most people consider games to be either AAA or indie, which does kind of make sense. It's just that indies are called indies for reasons other than their price point and content offered.

LMAO! What's funny that I'm a proud Xbox One and Wii U owner and don't have a PS4 and I don't fee a need to own one now. I figured I'd try to share some good news. Idiots are love to put their foot in their mouth. How's that rubber tasting?
