Is this game a full 60fps on the PS3 like it is on Wii U?

Best of PSN?

NONE of those are the best games on PSN!

A disc based Best of PSN sounds good to me. A $20.00 purchase? As long as the keep the greatest hits coming Since PSN games are not going to be B/C with PS4.

I want to get Tokyo Jungle and Fat Princess at some point, but I think this release is a little bit odd.  I don't see why they don't just release the games individually at a reduced price point.  They could throw in all of the DLC and charge $20 or something.

I'd be interested in purchasing it for Fat Princess alone.

I guess part of the reason is because I don't know a damn thing about the other titles.

I'd get it for Tokyo Jungle and Sound Shapes alone.

I think that everyone should start stocking up on PSN games to carry over to the new PS4.  Oh, I forgot, none of it is compatible with the new console.

Well... guess I'll wait to see what's in Vol 2.

I enjoyed the Beta of Fat Princess, but I found better games to play and never bought the full version. I know very little of the other games and have little interest in finding out more.

Never heard of any of these.

These are great games. I would pick this up if I didn't already own three of them.

Would be cool if Critter Crunch, Dead Nation, Papo & Yo, and Unfinished Swan compose Volume 2.

This better be free for PS+ members or at lease a discount would be nice. Only game I play was Sound Shapes.

@franzito Tokyo Jungle is one of the best RPGs released in 2012 and it made a lot of positive noise, you really should check it out. Don't let the graphics fool you, I got so addicted to this game that I dropped playing everything else for several weeks just to finish up the game's story and fool around with alternate playable "characters".

@LesserAngel I don't get it?  So you have to throw out your PS3 if you get a PS4?  I must be doing it wrong because I still have PS2, Xbox, Nintendo Game Cube and Wii.  Sure some of the games are dated but I still love the ones I still own.  Again, maybe I'm doing it wrong but if you enjoy the old titles you should keep them and the console to play them on.  Last I checked, nothing that comes out new lets you keep the features of the old.  New cars don't do it, new Tv's don't do it, new clothes don't do it, new food doesn't do it, new furniture doesn't do it....yet we expect new game consoles to do it?  Doesn't make any scense to me.

@Blowing_for_Ps4  Quit the play. You got banned and made another account. This Blowing_for_Ps4 user name is a lot worse than Queuing for ps4. It sounded better , your current username sucks ass.

@Defender1978 One of the reasons I dont buy downloadable console games anymore, not to mention the horrible & restricted buying transaction for someone who doesnt live in the U.S or europe. If I have a U.S account or europeon, etc, I have to have a credit card that is only limited to the selected country and worse, I cannot change it to different country if I move out. In order to do that, I have to create a new account with a new email and a new credit card from the country that I'm currently staying.

Didn't they ever heard of Paypal? They really should take notes from Steam about how buying transaction is done for gamers 'worldwide'.

@Defender1978

Why would you expect them to be?  I'm still not sure why everyone was outraged that PSN titles wouldn't carry over.

We knew that PS3 games wouldn't be backwards-compatible, because Sony is abandoning the PS3's cell architecture for something more practical. PSN games are essentially just digital PS3 games. If they were developed to be played on the PS3, then of course the PS4 won't be able to play them.

@WWE6427 Wasn't it GS that made a complete fake website for Aprils fools one year? with fake stories and everything. Might have been Newgrounds, can't remember.

@saleama @LesserAngel Eventually, the PS3 is gonna break down, and there's no guarantee that Sony will keep the old PSN active to redownload any lost data.

LesserAngel
LesserAngel

@ImmersioNw0w @LesserAngel Only two problems with that, 1: It has yet to be seen that they'll actually follow through with that, and if it'll include ALL PSN items and 2: There's the possibility you'll have to repurchase games you already own.

@Weatherby_ @Defender1978 That's a bunch of BS, if Sony really wanted to, they could make the PS4 play PSN games, they're either A: Too lazy to implement it, or B: Greedy SoBs that want you to re-buy the same thing just so you can play in on PS4.

bledsoe45sbc

@Weatherby_ @Defender1978 because for everyone to trust digital media it needs to be forward compatiable , like pc titles . or why would you buy anything digitally on a console . sony and ms want digital sales because they make more money on each sale

Defender1978
Defender1978

@Weatherby_ @Defender1978 You know, I am really getting sick and tired of people like you asking me why I have a problem with it.  If you don't already know why it is important to have 7 years worth of digital content that I have purchased carried over to the new console then there is no hope for you.  I couldn't care less what kind of "architecture" they are using and I'll be damned if I purchase it all again.

-Jonce-

@Weatherby_ @Defender1978 I'm far from outraged that the £200 I've spent on PSN stuff could soon be useless but it's a very big tick in the negative box when considering whether or not to get a PS4.

@CraigNinten @Defender1978 That sounds good for Sony.  I am sick of getting screwed.  I've been gaming for 30 years.  I've bought thousands of games.  The new generation of gamers that think reverse compatibility isn't important and digital purchases only last as long as that generations console can continue to pay for it.  I won't.  I don't blame Sony for wanting to make money, but as the consumer I have all the power.  I can simply keep my money.

CraigNinten

@Defender1978 Do you know Sony developed a software PS2 emulator for PS3? Not talking about those backward- compatible PS3 here, every PS2 classic on PSN is run on this emulator. Sony kept this a secret until some talented individuals reverse-engineering those titles and found out this.

Considering the gap between PS2 and PS3, so yes, technically, I do believe Sony could port all those PSN titles to PS4, regardless of the "architecture", but I doubt they will release it for free. More likely, there will be "HD remaster release golden arcade ultimate climax collection" of what we have right now, because that's what business for.

Defender1978

@Lhomity @jorge69696 I'm not buying a PS4 because of it and if Xbox pulls this crap I won't be buying it either. As long as consumers like you are content with less that is what you will get. Enjoy re-purchasing your software. I won't do it. I'll stick with Steam. If downloading software is the future I expect it to work on next-gen consoles. If they can't do that then they don't deserve my money. Which won't matter. There are tons on gamers like you who are more than happy to keep shoveling out money for games you've already paid for. Have fun.

Lhomity

@Defender1978 It was never going to carry over. So just keep your PS3 when/if you buy a PS4.

jorge69696
jorge69696

@Defender1978 That is a good solution. They should port all those downloadable games to the PS4 and give them for free to those that already own it on the PS3.

But that wouldn't bring them any profit so I doubt they would do it.
