GameSpy ready to gather Quake players to San Francisco for one giant LAN party.

GameSpy Industries will be throwing its big LAN party, BeatDown 19 (not to be confused with the recently released game Beat Down), in San Francisco from July 16-18.

According to GameSpy, there is space for more than 200 participants, and a number of sponsors have signed on to the LAN party, including Logitech. BeatDown 19 will be located in the Capella Events Center, which includes a built-in nightclub sound system already set up for network play.

Registration closes on June 12 and costs US$40, so click on the link if you're interested.
