Bayonetta 2, the sequel to Platinum Games' 2010's Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title, will launch exclusively for Wii U on October 24, Nintendo announced today. If you buy the disc-based version of the game at retail, you'll also get a digital copy of the original Bayonetta.

Also included with the package are "some Nintendo cosplay options for the powerful heroine," Nintendo said.

Bayonetta 2 includes a number of features not found in the original, including a new snake transformation that lets Bayonetta move better in underwater passages. In addition, we learned at E3 in June that Bayonetta 2 will include mechs.
