We already knew Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 were coming out in the same year, but now we've learned more about how closely to one another they will arrive.

Speaking today at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2016 Global Technology Conference, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said Titanfall 2 will come out around three weeks from when Battlefield 1 debuts, though he didn't say if it would be before or after, according to DualShockers.

Battlefield 1 arrives on October 21, which means Titanfall 2 will come out sometime between September 30 and November 11.

Also during the call, Jorgensen reiterated that EA is not worried that launching two FPS games so close to one another will hurt either game's sales. They cater to different types of shooter players, giving EA broad coverage of the FPS space, he said.

Jorgensen also said EA is "not uncomfortable" launching its shooter games against Activision's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Also during the call today, Jorgensen said there was "some debate" internally at EA about Battlefield 1's World War 1 setting.
