Crave Entertainment and Ubi Soft Entertainment have announced that their latest real-time strategy game, Battle Realms, has shipped to stores. The game is set in a fantasy world inspired by feudal Asia. Players command a group of peasants, train them to become unique warriors, and lead them into battle against rival clans.

Battle Realms was developed by Liquid Entertainment, the game studio headed by Ed Del Castillo, who produced Westwood's popular real-time strategy game Command & Conquer. The game has won a number of awards during its development, including nominations from the Game Critics Award committee for best strategy game two years in a row.

Battle Realms will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $49.99. For more information, take a look at our extensive preview coverage of the game.
