The fourth annual Battle Arena Melbourne (BAM) fighting game tournament is scheduled to take place this weekend. Run by Melbourne events group CouchWarriors, BAM will feature a variety of fighting game tournaments and a prize pool valued at over $5,000.

In addition to competitive play, the event will also be celebrating the launch of Dead or Alive 5 with the nation's first Dead or Alive 5 tournament. Dedicated spaces will be available for casual and practice play. Players are encouraged to pre-register to take part. The event will also be streamed live via the CouchWarriors Twitch channel.

The pre-party kicks off on Friday evening at the Crown Casino, with the tournament set to run from Saturday, September 29. Further details can be found at the CouchWarriors website.
