A new image from next year's Justice League has come online, bringing together Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), and The Flash (Ezra Miller). They are all staring at something out of the image in the distance, and we can only imagine what it might be.

The image, posted by Entertainment Weekly, can be seen below.

Director Zack Snyder told Entertainment Weekly that he is currently in the middle of editing Justice League, which comes to theaters in November 2017.

Part of the story will focus on how the heroes work together, putting their egos at bay, to save the world. "Flash is Ringo Starr," Miller said, referencing his character and how he's similar to the Beatles drummer. "He annoys everybody, but he doesn't have any specific beef with anyone."

As for the other superheroes, here's what Miller had to say about them:

"Uncle Fish Curry [Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa] is very grumpy. Dad [Batman] gets grumpy too. (He's had a long life of fighting crime.) Wonder Woman is very considerate, so even though she's annoyed with the Flash, she's still very compassionate."

Earlier this year, it was reported that Ciaran Hinds had been cast as the villainous Steppenwolf in the film. Hinds, best known for the likes of There Will Be Blood and Munich, will perform as a motion-captured CGI character. Sources told The Wrap that "Steppenwolf's look will be upgraded" from the first time we saw the character in a Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice deleted scene.

Justice League also stars Amber Heard as Mera, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Henry Cavill as Superman.
