In a press release today, Warner Bros. apologized for the widespread issues that many players have experienced while playing Batman: Arkham Origins. A patch should be available "within the next week" for all platforms, and it will address the three most widespread bugs players have reported:

  • Inability to continue the story from the main menu.
  • FreeFlow Focus mode not unlocking upon reaching “Shadow Vigilante” rank 3
  • Infinite falling/falling out of world (the fix should push you back to your previous save, allowing you to progress).

Specific to the PC, a bug preventing players from navigating through the vent in the Burnley tower has already been patched and is available now.

For the Xbox 360 version of the game, bugs related to corrupted saves and ongoing crashes/freezing are still being investigated, and they will not be fixed by next week's patch. To temporarily bypass the crashes, Warner Bros. recommends 360 players disconnect their console from the Internet while playing.
