Rocksteady Studios today released a new patch for Batman: Arkham Knight--and it's a big one.

The standout feature of the 4.3 GB patch is a new Photo Mode. This lets users snap photos of Batman--or anyone or anything else--and then edit and share them with friends.

Photo Modes are nothing new in games, as titles like Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, The Last of Us, and The Order: 1886 all have them.

The patch also gets Arkham Knight ready for August's DLC and more. Check out the brief patch notes below, as relayed by Eurogamer.

  • New Feature: Force Original Voice Cast option for non-English Territories
  • Support for August additional content
  • Updates for WBPlay and Downloadable content
  • General gameplay, graphical, audio, UI, and localization fixes

This patch is available now on consoles, though it's unclear if the troubled PC edition is also getting the update. That version of the game itself is getting an "interim" patch later this month.

Arkham Knight's first expansion, the Batgirl-focused A Matter of Family, launched last month and was developed externally by Batman: Arkham Origins studio WB Games Montreal. August's DLC, which takes the form of Batman and Batmobile skins based on the 1989 movie, is developed by Rocksteady. A release date for this content, included with the Arkham Knight DLC pass, has not been announced.
