Stockholm-based game developer Grin has released a playable demo of its high-speed hoverbike racing game, Ballistics. The demo includes the SkyTown track and three difficulty levels, as well as a quick tutorial. To download the 107MB demo, visit the official Grin Web site.

Ballistics takes place in the future, at a time when human civilization has managed to rid the planet of war and disease, but society's thirst for action inspires a brutal high-speed sport evolved from Formula 1 races. Pilots race high-performance hoverbikes around complex concrete tracks at supersonic speeds, and they can use their earnings to purchase performance upgrades for both their vehicles and the pilots themselves.

Ballistics was released in October by Xicat Interactive. For more information, take a look at our full review of the game.
