Today Eidos opened the Web site for its upcoming fighting game, Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes the Neighborhood. Besides sporting the game's first official trailer, the site introduces the game's characters, Madman Pondo, New Jack, El Drunko, Masked Horndog, and Rudeboy, as well as Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope of the Insane Clown Posse. Also featured are locales and screenshots from the game. More media will be added as the game's fall 2004 release date approaches.

In addition, the Backyard Wrestling 2 site will include Backyard Wrestling Radio, which features a half-dozen songs from the game, such as Kool Keith's "Serving a Sentence," T.S.O.L.'s "Serious," Body Count's "There Goes the Neighborhood," Dark Lotus' "That's Me," Anybody Killa's "Gang Related," and Hazen St.'s "Are You Ready?"

Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes the Neighborhood is the sequel to last year's Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This at Home. Developed by Paradox, the game will feature more expansive environments than its predecessor and will feature porn star Tera Patrick as a playable character. GameSpot's preview has more on this controversy-courting sequel.
