The Avengers: Infinity War is coming in 2018, and we already know that it'll bring the superhero team together with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Now, it's been confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch will appear as Doctor Strange in the movie as well.

Cumberbatch confirmed to Empire Magazine (via Express UK) that Strange would be making an appearance in the next Avengers movie. It's a "logistical challenge" to get him, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Elizabeth Olsen, and Paul Bettany on the same schedule, Cumberbatch said.

"To get us all together will be quite something," Cumberbatch said. "That's why this character is being introduced, to open up the next chapter… So watch this space to see how that unfolds."

The Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018. We'll see Cumberbatch first in Doctor Strange, which releases on November 4. Strange is also expected to appear in 2017's Thor: Ragnarok. Thor actor Chris Hemsworth was photographed holding a business card with the mystical superhero's address.
