Shrapnel Games has announced that Austerlitz: Napoleon's Greatest Victory has been delayed due to printing problems with the manual. The game is now scheduled to ship on July 8, and it can be ordered from the Shrapnel Games Web site for a retail price of $44.95.

Austerlitz is the first installment in BreakAway Games' The Greatest Battles strategy game series, and it is based on Sid Meier's Gettysburg game engine. Players will control French, Russian, or Austrian forces in more than 25 scenarios based on both historical and speculative situations set in the time of Napoleon. The game also features a random battle generator and multiplayer support for up to eight players, as well as a number of improvements on previous games based on the same engine, such as better soldier animations and a new interface.
