Aussie game charts: September 3-9

BioShock maintains number one spot; The Sims 2: Bon Voyage sneaks up.

Australia is going BioShock crazy, as the Xbox 360 version has again taken out the top spot in the Australian overall games charts according to data trackers GfK. However, the PC version of the game fell completely out of the top 10.

There were two newcomers to the charts this week--The Sims 2: Bon Voyage on PC and Two Worlds for Xbox 360. The Sims 2: Bon Voyage debuted in second spot, whilst Two Worlds sat in seventh. THQ's movie tie-in game Ratatouille took out the ninth position, and Boogie ended the week in 10th place.

In other charts news, despite being a launch title for the Wii nine months ago, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess continues to be a strong seller. This week it was the fifth best-selling game for the platform.

It is great to see Boogie flop here as well, next up EA playground.

@BlueYonderBoy - I didn't know people could still do that

Lol! Not a single PS3 game in the top 10 full-price games. But what's the deal with the crappy Two Worlds?

does anyone know if the chart sales take account when people return a game that they didnt like?

WTF?! How did Ratatouille even make it on the Top10 Full Priced Games?! Anyhow, way to go BioShock!! Though, it's too bad to see the BioShock PC didn't make the Top10 Full Priced Games.

This latest data shows Sims lovers (nearly all girls) are too simple to handle a console, as for Bioshock I loved the gameplay but couldn't really get into the story, the way they presented it didn't work for me.

Bioshock is doing real well still, no surprise though.

wow two worlds is up there too nice

nice job bioshock you deserve it

i knew Bioshock was going to be a hit from the first time i picked up my 360 controller and put the game in, once i started playing it was over! BioShock is just purely an awesome game! I Heart BioShock

Love to see games selling well when they deserve it. If I was going to bet on Game of the Year, I'd bet on Bioshock. didn't know people still played the sims.

Bioshock makes me puke! I get dizzy playing it ;)

man, never thought Bioshock would be such a huge hit!

righton, go bioshock - so much goodness. Theres a sequel on the cards too, maybe!

It's nice to see Bioshock doing so well.
